Each holiday season, The Salvation Army engages in the tradition of "staffing the kettles" to promote the plight of the needy in the counties of Calhoun and Barry. This practice is critical to The Salvation Army's cause, as the money it raises supports the organization’s programs for the rest of the year. Thanks to the generosity of thousands of Calhoun and Barry County residents and businesses, The Salvation Army can continue to provide valuable programs such as the Feeding and Emergency Assistance programs.

The money raised from this program allows us to help individuals and families throughout the year with food, clothing, shelter, utilities and prescription drugs.
